Do you have roots pulling apart your sewer line or some other damage that calls for extensive repair or replacement? Well, before you dig consider the alternatives.
At Boden Plumbing we use a drain lining system that provides a cost effective alternative to traditional dig methods of pipe replacement - and yet still offers the structural strength of new pipe. And no trenches required!
This patented system allows our technicians to replace underground pipe without disturbing any surface materials such as driveways, landscaping, porches, sidewalks, floors, electrical & gas lines or water lines (which means no locates), roadways, and parking lots.
Your existing pipe provides the form for a slick new skin that restores the integrity of the line. It's really very ingenious.
If you'd like to know more, check out the why dig? website - or email us here at Boden. We can tell you about the projects we've done and discuss with you whether or not the trenchless way is suitable for your situation. Chances are it's a real good choice!

One Stop Peace of Mind...
Simplify water treatment for your home with the new whole-house systems.
Say Goodbye to Water Softeners
Hard water is a fact of life for many people. And often we don’t realize the negative effects it has on our daily lives, not to mention our home’s water systems. While traditional water softeners only stop future build-up of scale in pipes and appliances, there are new technologies that actually act to remove existing mineral build-up as well, greatly reducing the risk from expensive and dangerous blockages. These systems are not water softeners; they utilize an electronic or magnetic process to de-crystallize calcium bicarbonate and magnesium bicarbonate, the minerals that cause scale build up, that are found in hard water.
The result? Fresher, longer-lasting clothes; cleaner dishes and silverware; easier cleaning of bathtubs, showers, and sinks; healthier skin; and, perhaps most important, increased life of appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines, and water heaters.
There are no additives needed of any kind with these more advanced whole-house systems. You effectively eliminate the messy sodium or potassium chlorides—that may “soften” the water but also compromise your septic and sewer systems, dry out your plants, and create the need for an extra drinking water faucet that bypasses the high sodium water.
Enjoy Clean Water Anywhere Anytime
Stop guessing what’s in the water you and your family drink and start enjoying clean, great-tasting water from any faucet in the house.
Chlorine is a fact of life in municipal water. While it may be an important step in removing dangerous pathogens from the general water supply, it’s not something you want to take in on a regular basis once that water gets to your home. Studies now link increased cancer rates to drinking chlorinated water. Filtering it from your drinking water at the kitchen tap goes part of the way, but did you know that over 60% of the chlorine and other impurities that you take in from your water comes through your skin while bathing or showering? Not to mention the fact that during showering your lungs are rapidly absorbing the chlorine as well.
Look for activated carbon filtering, which improves on the reversed osmosis process you may be more familiar with. Reverse osmosis systems can breed bacteria in their storage tanks—making your family’s drinking water worse than it was to begin with. And they increase the acidity level of the water, which can lead to health concerns.
Forget About Maintenance
There are whole-house water filtration systems now available that require no periodic maintenance. Combine that with a six to eight year life span and it means you can have a continuous supply of fresh water that’s good for you, good for your plants and the environment—and good for your plumbing system—often for less than a penny per gallon.
Many of us spend a lot of money each year on bottled water and find partial solutions to hard water and filtration. Why not simplify your home water treatment with a whole-house system—and get one-step peace of mind? At Boden Plumbing we specialize in the Nature's Miracle™ whole-house system. If you would like more info, log on to our website or send us an email. We'd be happy to tell you more!

Got Clogs? Clear Drain Lines Naturally!
Every year people spend millions of dollars on drain cleaning products that can't solve their slow running drain problems. Most of these products contain dangerous toxic chemicals, which can harm your pipes as well as the environment. The good news is that there is a natural solution - BioSmart.
BioSmart is a patented natural biological drain line, septic, and grease trap maintainer that essentially works like your stomach enzymes. (Weird, huh?...) It contains no harmful chemicals and keeps drain systems clean and free flowing by unleashing naturally-occurring bacteria that thrive on the grease, oil, and stubborn organics found in every wastewater system.
Besides going to work for you 24/7, the best thing about BioSmart is that it's safe for us humans, our pets, and the environment. Very cool.
Within a half hour after pouring Biosmart into the drain (just 1/2 a capful for monthly maintenance does the trick), the bacteria begin to eat their way into the waste that has accumulated on the sides and top of the drain pipe. This is their natural food. They digest the waste and spread throughout your system, cleaning it completely. When applied on a routine basis, BioSmart's friendly bacteria keep your pipes and wastewater systems in top condition all year round.
BioSmart is appropriate for both residential and commercial applications - and for all drain and sewer pipes, including kitchen sinks, lavatories, bath tubs, showers, floor drains, laundry drains, septic tanks and drain fields, garbage disposals, grease traps, R.V. & boat holding tanks - everywhere!
...Maybe we shouldn’t tell you this, but we’ve had more than a few customers say that, since they started using BioSmart, they never have to call us to clear stoppages anymore. Now that's a good thing. Ask us about BioSmart today - email Boden Plumbing

Out of This World Laundry
We've found a really intriguing gizmo that can make a big difference in your laundry room.
Imagine fresh clean clothes without the use of detergents or hot water. Hard to believe? We know - so we tried it ourselves!
And it works!
It's called LaundryPure™ and it uses RCI technology originally developed in cooperation with NASA to clean the air in spacecraft. Independent NSF testing has demonstrated that the silver nano-technology used kills 99.999% of the bacteria in the water as it passes through the appliance and into your washing machine. Silver has been used for centures to kill bacteria and fungi and now LaundryPure™ puts it to good use in the laundry. Cool.
But how does it really work, you ask? The Radiant Catalytic Ionization (RCI) technology that LaundryPure™ utilizes combines high intensity UV light with a patent-pending multi-metallic coating to produce super oxide ions and hydro-peroxides. (geeze...sounds complicated) These oxidizers become entrained in the water to break down oils and grime as well as disinfect the fabric - using only cold water. Pure oxygen aeration creates an effervescent cleaning action where escaping gases release grime and stains from fabrics.
The word is that tough stains will sometimes require pre-treatment, just as they do with normal washing. But hey, no detergents down the drain? That's a good thing!
The really neat thing is that LaundryPure™ works with your existing washing machine. It's installed on the wall above the washer with the cold water line running into it then out and to the washer. And Presto! No hot water required. In fact, for best results DO NOT use the hot or warm water setting on your machine.
So it's like doing laundry as usual without the cost of hot water or the need for abrasive detergents. We're thinking the environment, your septic, and your wallet will all say thank you.
